Our Approach

Your programme is designed to meet your individual requirements, whether you wish to change job, set up a new business or seek a portfolio / alternative lifestyle. Every situation is different and our commitment is to help you to make sensible, appropriate and realistic decisions about your future.The programme will be delivered in person at a location near your home and remotely by telephone and e-mail. The backbone of your programme is the provision of in-depth, one-to-one counselling and coaching sessions with a dedicated executive career coach. The combination of 1 : 1 coaching and job search resources will assist you in achieving your career goal.

Senior Manager Programme

Your Programme includes;

An initial meeting with the asa Managing Consultant to discuss expectations, career management needs and to identify the most appropriate career coach to work with you.

22 hours of 1 : 1 coaching support. These sessions are typically delivered in 2 hour sessions. The sessions are bespoke and  cover;

  • Introduction to coach
  • Programme objectives
  • Review of options
  • Understanding of values, skills, interests, achievements, strengths and limitations
  • Psychometric assessment and feedback
  • Spouse / partner support
  • CV / personal biography development and production
  • How to prepare a self-marketing plan
  • Networking
  • Guidance on job responses, recruiter introductions, networking and speculative approaches
  • Interview preparation and role-play, with / without CCTV, feedback and analysis

Access to career coach via telephone and e- mail

First 100 days support in new role and lifetime access to your career coach

6 months access to MyWorkSearch on line that includes;

Ability to search thousands of job boards simultaneously with one click

  •  identify relevant sources of job vacancies – we list these by function, industry and country as well as covering the generalist sources
  • find the recruiters who specialise in appointments relevant to you – by salary, function, industry
  • identify relevant companies to target directly – by industry sector and size – and then find more information about them
  • learn about the research sources for your profession or job functions
  • research sources for industry sectors and learn about new markets
  • investigate other career options – such as interim management, non-executive directorships, training, MBAs etc
  • get background information about starting your own business
